U.S. Will Pay $2.6 Million to Train Chinese Prostitutes to Drink Responsibly on the Job

The National Institute of Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAA), a part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), will pay $2.6 million in U.S. tax dollars to train Chinese prostitutes to drink responsibly on the job.

  1. Ah, bureaucracy. Since brothels, prostitutes and madams are “bad”, let’s call them “establishment-based FSWs” and “gatekeepers” instead. Maybe we need to hire some lawyer to draft a complex, euphemism-filled decriminalization bill we could trick through some state legislature somewhere by making the language so confusing that the legislators don’t realize what they’re actually voting on.

      Seems to me like some of that is already happening. I just think it’s funny for a country who doesn’t want to give the wrong impression of ‘condoning’ prostitution to give money to another country to help train their prostitutes.
